Terms of Service

Short, in plain English, and specific about the two things terms pages usually bury: what renews and how you stop it.

Last updated 15 August 2026

Who you are contracting with

AEOSearch is operated by Greater Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”). By running an audit or buying a plan you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

What the service is

AEOSearch asks AI assistants buyer-intent questions about your category and reports whether they mention and recommend your brand. A free audit runs 8 questions against ChatGPT — answered by its fast model — and Gemini 3.6 Flash, and shows your scorecard plus up to three of the questions you lost. Paid audits and subscriptions cover more engines and larger question sets — 20 on the one-time audits and Track, 50 on Grow, 100 on Command — plus the full question table and a 90-day action plan, as described on the pricing and methodology pages. The methodology page is part of this agreement: it defines what each number means, and it states plainly where reports we have already produced differ from the plans described here — audits run before 13 August 2026 do, and we would rather you read it than discover it. On paid plans the dashboard also keeps a Fixes queue: work items built from what your audit found. On Track, Grow and Command that queue is worked with our team — you see the same items and the same history we do — and on Command, the done-for-you tier, we implement the fixes for you. That scope covers the queue itself: content and technical changes made or published on your behalf with your permission, not a promise about how any AI assistant will respond to them.

What we do not promise

We measure; we do not control what an AI assistant says. We do not promise that any assistant will mention you, recommend you, rank you, or ever change its answer. AI answers are probabilistic and vary between runs — that is why every report samples each question three times per engine and publishes the volatility rather than hiding it. Nothing in a report, an action plan, or a call is a guarantee of a commercial result.

How you reach your report — keep the link

Your report lives at an unguessable URL and anyone who has that URL can read the report. That is the access control on the report itself, and it has not changed. Treat the link like a password — do not post it publicly, and share it only with people you want reading your audit. If you lose it, contact us and we will re-send it to the email on the audit.

You can also sign in with the email address on your audit to see your properties in one place and manage your plan. Signing in adds a way in; it never removes one — report links keep working with no account at all.

One-time purchases

The full report is $199 and Full Coverage is $450, charged once through Stripe. Buying either on a finished audit re-opens it and fills in the engines and questions your new tier includes. One-time purchases do not renew.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel

Track is $249/month, Grow is $495/month and Command is $950/month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Each plan renews automatically every month at the same price and charges the card you used, with no further notice, until you cancel. Each billing period includes one re-run of your audit — the same approved question set, so the month-over-month delta is comparable. Re-runs are scheduled roughly every 28 days; they are not on a fixed calendar date.

If you subscribed inside Shopify, Shopify bills you — not us

The AEOSearch app in the Shopify App Store sells its own plans, starting at $29/month, and Shopify charges you, not Stripe. Those plans are governed by the app listing and by Shopify's own terms, not by this page: whatever your plan includes, and whatever you approved when you subscribed, is shown in your Shopify admin, and the Stripe instructions on this page do not apply to it. Cancel a Shopify plan from the app or from your Shopify admin. The $29 plan is not sold on this site.

How to cancel — two ways, both work

Self-serve. Sign in with the email on your audit, open your property and choose Manage plan. That opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can update the card, see your invoices, or cancel. To switch plans, email us — the portal does not offer plan changes yet, and this sentence changes when it does.

Email. paintedalways@gmail.com from the address on your audit, or from any address, naming your brand or your report link. We will cancel within two business days and confirm by reply. This path is not going away because you now have a button: some people would rather write to a person, and we do not require a phone call, a retention conversation, or a reason on either path.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, whichever way you ask. Until that date the plan is still yours: the re-run scheduled inside that period still runs, and its report is delivered as normal. After it, no further charge is made and the monthly re-runs stop. Every report you have already paid for stays reachable at its URL forever.

Refunds

Cancelling stops future charges; we do not prorate or refund the period already paid for, because the API cost of that period's run is already spent — and because that period is still yours, its scheduled re-run still runs. If a run failed, produced a report we cannot stand behind, or you were charged for a month whose re-run never happened, tell us and we will refund that month in full. Ask before assuming a refund is impossible — the cases above are not exhaustive.

Costs we incur on your behalf

Every audit spends real money at OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google and xAI. That is why a started run is not free to us even if you abandon it, and why the refund clause above is written the way it is rather than as an unconditional money-back guarantee.

Your content, and what you let us do with it

You keep everything you give us: brand names, domains, competitor lists, buyer profiles and seed questions. You grant us permission to send that information to the AI engines listed on the privacy page as part of running your audit, and to fetch your homepage and the competitor pages an assistant cited so we can diagnose gaps. You confirm you have the right to ask us to do that. Your reports and the answers behind them are yours; we do not sell them and we do not publish them.

Acceptable use

Do not use AEOSearch to audit a brand you have no relationship with in order to harass it, do not attempt to reach audits that are not yours, and do not use the reports to make claims about a competitor that the report does not support. We may cancel your plan and cut off access for any of these.

Third-party engines can change or break

The engines we query are other companies' products. They change models, retire APIs, rate-limit us and go down. When a call fails we store an empty answer and exclude it from every metric rather than counting it as a zero — an outage must never read as invisibility — and the report discloses the failure count. If an engine becomes unavailable for a billing period we will tell you and, if it materially changed what you paid for, refund or credit that period.

Liability

We provide the service as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunity. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as permitted.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that reduces what a paying subscriber gets, we will email the address on the audit before the change takes effect for that subscriber. Otherwise the current version on this page governs, and the date below is when it last changed.
